When it comes to educating our youth, social justice doesn't just happen. It's up to parents, caregivers, teachers, family members, mentors, friends to find ways to teach our children about race, gender, orientation, ability, diversity, justice, equity, and liberation and to be explicit that Black Lives Matter. I believe that all of those things can be taught with love. Here are some resources I've found to be helpful, inspiring, and instructive in supplementing the classroom education with multiple narratives about life, race, social justice, history, Black liberation, colonialism, and more. This very short list is just a starting point, and there are SO many more powerful resources out there as well. If you find any great ones, I'd love to hear about them. For now, hope this helps along the journey!

The Conscious Kid and particularly their instagram are great resources. They also have a great Patreon option!
