my FAVE KIDLIT BLOGS AND RESOURCES:

Looking for information on how to get started writing books for children? There are a ton of amazing resources out there filled with great information, resources to improve your craft, and opportunities to meet other authors. My biggest pieces of advice: 1) don't go it alone and 2) hang in there! Community and resilience are key factors that helped me persist and reach some of my goals. It's always a work in progress, and the journey has lots of twists and turns, but hang in there and keep writing!

"You must keep looking for your voice. YOUR particular consciousness. Your beliefs. The stories you find interesting for a particular reason. And then there's the voice of The Narrator. That is not necessarily the same thing."
